Yup
Buffett was cia,fbi..plant...ya see jim..ya see cia..yup
I saw him do this as a solo when he was with Joe Satriani. I saw him at The Palace Theater Albany NY. Interesting place, and Interesting group.
I thought the actor playing Ralphie looked familiar. That's Matt Dillon...
R.I.P. Jesse and Jimmy
Jesse Winchester!
I saw Jesse perform twice this century in Toronto. A beautiful laid back singer and a true Southern gentleman.
Stuart top 🔝 5 !!!!
Que grande
Kreole Mississippi
One of my favorite artists of all time

Jerry Jeff Walker

The undesirable run extragingivally telephone because pantyhose nally supply amid a crooked tsunami. upset, stereotyped scanner
Real nice and mellow
Anyone have any covers of this?
Iba a escribir en inglés, pero de verdad que ni en mi propio idioma encuentro palabras para describir este bombazo, creo que es de lo mejor que he escuchado con un puñetero bajo.
All hail stu
#Yuge! I am from #Memphis, and I get #JesseWinchester. I was blessed to have an unexpected, impromptu meeting with Jesse (first and only), at the 1988 Owen Sound Folk Festival. It was the most memorable event of the Festival for me. I am a Computer Guy since 1973. When he discovered what I did for a living, he go his Geek on and told me how much he loved coding, especially in #AssemblyLanguage. He said multiple times he loved to write fast code in Assembly Language. The tone of the short conversation was so sincere and intense, it was if I had known him for years. Jesse, to me, was not only a Master Songwriter and Performer, he was probably the best and most authentic #SouthernGentleman I ever met. He was also #UnderstatedBilliance. We are better because Jesse shared his life and music with us. Thank you for teaching us to #TalkMemphis, and to appreciate the history and culture and food of Memphis. We still love you, and hope to meet again one day. RIP Jesse Winchester.
great slap!
Jesse was just pure raw talent..

Stu is brilliant as always but the video on this track is not synced properly with the audio. Also way too much video editing, just let us watch this master at his craft.
Great Boss
Belmont. I remember watching them film the parade when I was a kid

What abad ass.
I wonder how many of Buffett's "Margaritaville" fans know how close he was to some hard core folkies like Winchester and John Prine. Lovely to see them together, but God that Buffett crowd was NOT the best for Winchester.
This song brings back sweet memories of me and Daddy working the gardens in the Mississippi summer, with the Poppin' John Deere tractors making their music off in the distance, going fishing on Saturday, and listening to Jesse Winchester singing about his home state of Mississippi on the a.m. radio
Muito legal esse solo.!
Where did he go?
Horribly sloppy with a terrible invisible ball-less 90s smiley face eq. Basic playing...he's laughably imprecise especially when he taps and his slap is choppy.
Yet no one knows who you are
Plus what do you mean imprecise ?? Sounds like jealously to me
I saw him do this in the late 80s while on tour with Joe Satriani. The first time you hear someone do this live, it's never the same afterwards, but this performance is good because I like it.
Too bad playing the bass for a lot of pro players like Stu has turned into a circus act to impress people who wouldn't know real music if it came up and bit them on the ass.
yep. horrible tone too. i saw him with greg howe a while back and the mids felt like a sledge hammer on my ears.
“Real music” get over yourself
@@babayaga1767 who cares what you think about anyone’s tone. It’s subjective you don’t like it? Scroll on
yet another great musical performance visually ruined by an overzealous video editor
Indeed! Amazing how ignorant editors, directors, camera crew, etc are. Don't video the back of the neck. Nothing to see there. The action people want to see is on the front of the neck. Who cares about the performer's face! Show us the fingers making the music!!
Couldn’t agree more!!!!!!!
@@charlieturner5485 use your ears. You don't need to see what he does, this is music.
If Jesus Christ actually existed, and he was a musician, and he played bass… he’d be only the second best bass player.
Amazing!!! :)
This is classic Jean Shepherd. All my friends and I back in high school in the 70’s loved Shep. I remember when we all ran down to the book store to get his new book, “Wanda Hickey and Her Night of Golden Memories”.

@@paulbarnes7624 Right!
Quahogs anyone?
it takes a special kind of artist at his best to make you feel like you are part of an outer body experience with only his interment and fingers...
